Ferrugem

Ferrugem, born Jheison Failde de Souza, is one of the biggest names in contemporary samba. Raised in Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro, his love for the genre started early. He gained national attention in 2011 with the hit “Meu Bem”, and in 2014, signed with Warner Music. Today, Ferrugem is one of Brazil’s most beloved artists — and in September 2023, he brought his music to Dublin to celebrate Brazil Day, filling the city with rhythm, joy, and the unmistakable spirit of samba.
